Stormy Weather

$650.00

I was Inspired by the Group of Seven, Frederick Varley’s Stormy Weather. My family is from the area and this piece just touches my very being. As are all my pieces this one has been soldered together using the copper foil method, made famous by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. I use a variety of glass types, including rippled and striated glass for added detail and dimension. The beauty of stained glass is its transformation of brightness and allure when illuminated by natural light.  All pieces including this one are unique one of a kinds.

Materials: stained glass, wire, copper foil, solder, copper, wax, some contain beads, plaster frames, and some come with a 18 inch garden stake.
