Leaded Glass Class

Course Description
This course is 15 hours, divided up into 5 – 3 hour classes.
Experience the art of traditional stained glass making in this hands-on course. You will learn essential techniques such as scoring and breaking glass, grinding, leading, soldering, and cementing your panel. Choose from a selection of designs to create your own 10” x 15” panel to hang in a window. This class is perfect for beginners looking to explore glasswork or for experienced crafters who want to refine their skills. All patterns, tools, and materials are provided, but students must purchase their own glass.

Prior to the class, students must visit the studio to select a pattern and purchase glass. Please note, the course fee does not include the cost of glass.

While all other necessary tools and materials will be provided during class, you may wish to bring your own safety glasses.

The class cost does not include the sheet glass required to make your window hanging. The approximate glass cost for one window hanging will be $50-$100 depending on the glass you select.
